Let’s Go Brandon! Rally Cry Turns Cultural Phenomenon
Plus 5 other related items worth knowing about...
In a shocking yet not surprising development earlier this month, an NBC news reporter interviewing Nascar Xfinity Series race winner Brandon Brown live with a crowd in the backdrop chanting “F*ck Joe Biden,” tried to mask the chant by suggesting they were saying, “Let’s Go, Brandon!” The problem however is that it was clear they weren’t saying that and shortly thereafter the clip went viral on the web. The rest, as they say, is history.
But not really. Not only did the smudge not fool anybody, citizens of all ages, including children, have responded in kind. In fact, chanting on-air quickly became a common theme in the sporting world after the exact phrase, “Let’s Go, Brandon!” started being shouted at numerous different football games across the US last month.
The ripple effect doesn’t stop there. Billboards have gone up alongside roads and highways. T-shirts and bumper stickers are being made. And on Twitter there is now the hashtag #FJBMovement. I even saw a video clip of a worker at the Chicago O’Hare Airport announcing, “Let’s Go, Brandon!” over the PA after a customer asked for the staffer to page his friend.

What started off initially as a rally cry expressing deep disapproval for our nation’s president quickly became a cultural phenomenon against corrupt corporate media. And while nobody knows how long the slogan will remain popular, the response does shine a spotlight on the elephant in the room that many are either oblivious about or in denial - corrupt corporate media.
It’s hard to believe we are where we are today with the press in this country. The magnitude of lies, deceit, and just straight up propaganda to push narratives has made this the Misinformation or Disinformation Age. Nothing is black and white and anyone who tries to convince you it is, must be biased or misinformed themselves.
Remember that. If you are being persuaded to stop thinking for yourself and accept the mainstream narrative, this is your warning sign. It is your moment to take a stand, for your self, and trust and embrace your own independent thoughts and thinking.
We are not ants!
This is a day and age where your own critical thinking skills are about all you have to keep your mind free. Nobody is looking out for you. Your own ability to gather intel, process it, and make your own discernments about what is what will either lead you down a path where you stop thinking or can’t think for yourself, or where you realize that the only truth lies within you.
Which leads to why you should care what I have to say.
The following passage is Chapter 61 from the Tao Teh Ching, ancient Chinese literature from about 500 B.C, the complete text of which can be found on www.taotehching.org.
I share this here to serve as a bridge to another world, one of humor, deep thought, and mystical virtue. I invite you to join me in both places…here on my Substack for news, analysis, and perspective related to our God-given freedoms, and on my Tao Teh Ching blog for peace and quiet and contemplation.
A great country is like the lowland toward which all streams flow. It is the Reservoir of all under heaven, the Feminine of the world.
The Feminine always conquers the Masculine by her quietness, by lowering herself through her quietness.
Hence, if a great country can lower itself before a small country, it will win over the small country; and if a small country can lower itself before a great country, it will win over the great country. The one wins by stooping; the other, by remaining low.
What a great country wants is simply to embrace more people; and what a small country wants is simply to come to serve its patron. Thus each gets what it wants. But it behooves a great country to lower itself.
